Amanda UngPharmacist / Director of Professional Affairs, Canadian Pharmacists Association
I am very excited and honoured to be here serving Canadians across the country in my new role! I am an Ontario pharmacist who has been truly blessed to experience such a diverse career within the health care and pharmaceutical industry. In my journey, I have worked in various pharmacy settings, as well as undertaken numerous unconventional leadership roles in global pharmaceutical companies, the Ministry of Health, and even SunLife Financial. Like many Canadians, my dream of becoming an entrepreneur finally came true during the last decade and that opportunity allowed me to own and operate a community pharmacy and several other health related businesses. During this season of my life, I am called to serve at the CPhA and I bring everything that I have learned and experienced to improve patient care for all Canadians.
