Lisa is a former financial journalist who, after being diagnosed with a rare leukemia, turned her attention to the challenges faced by patients in the healthcare system. In addition to her work on Healthing, she runs a non-profit organization that supports people living with Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia. Lisa has written an award-winning patient handbook, and has been interviewed by the CBC, Globe and Mail and the National Post.
